While many international concerts like in Shanghai at the Oriental Art Center or in Peking at the congress hall in the Tianem place have been the focus the last 8 years, now the sounding body of the Austria Festival Symphony Orchestras with international instrumentation is related to the Silent-Night-City Oberndorf bei Salzburg with the fame as Festival Orchestra playing at the SalzART Festival.
Beneath works of Mozart, Dvorak and other contemporaries one of the central position of the orchestra is the accompanist of professional soloists. This year, in december 2009 the orchestra plays with the famous trumpeter Allen Vizzutti. Conductor Reinhold Wieser (musician, conductor, music teacher) and his orchestra tune very succesful in to enthuse thousands of listeners with typically austrian literature out of operetta and the Strauß-dynasty yearly at the new years concert. Highlights in the year 2009 are an Open Air Concert at the famous Salzburg Mirabell Garden on 28th of June in line with the Volkskulturfestes, the fourth concert in line with the Innsbrucker Promenade concerts on 27th of July, the concert in line with the city festival Mittersill on 7th of August and the concert on 14th of December with the famous trumpeter Allen Vizzutti from Seattle (USA) in the city hall of Oberndorf. From the year 2009 Reinhold Wieser accompanies with his musicians the festival Cantus Salisburgensis at the big hall of the Mozarteum in Salzburg. To spot and advance natonal talents is targeted by Reinhold Wieser, who has got an invitation with hisEnsemble Paris Lodron to the university Cornell/NY Ithaca in May 2010. |

Furthermore, the concertmaster, solists and some members of the orchestra studies at the university Mozarteum in Salzburg, at the university for music and play in Vienna, at the music academy in Innsbruck and at other universities in Europe. They get their education from famous professors of the Vienna Philharmonic, Mozarteum Orchestra and the Vienna Symphonic Orchestra. A few members made additional an education as director, conductor, of music and conducts their own or other orchestras in Austria.

Reinhold Wieser
Reinhold Wieser – conductor, musician, music teacher, manager – was born in 1959 in Mittersill, Salzburg. In his childhood he studied from his father fluit, percussion, clarinet, trumpet and first movements in conduction. When he was 13, he played the solo-trumpet in fathers orchestra.
After a conduction education, he came 1978 to the Military Orchestra Salzburg. He played the solo-trumpet and get experiences in austrian musics.
He become vice-conductor of the orchestra Mittersill with 18 years old. In 1979 he began to study at the Mozarteum Salzburg, orchestra musician, and finished some courses of Prof. Paul Lachermaier, Bo Nillson, Otto Sauter and Conjarts.
Since 1983 he works international as musician, music teacher and conductor. Concerts brought him to Germany, Hungary, Italia, St. Petersburg – Russia, China and Cypern.
Since 15 years he leads the successful Ensemble Paris Lodron, Salzburg. He reached some awards – as conductor and with his orchestras.A New Years Eve Tour in 2005/2006 with a concert in Bejing with an audience over 7000 people was also very successfull.
